At this time we are not breeding, and have no plans for future breedings.

We have worked with Dr. Simon Peterson-Jones, at Michigan State
University (MSU) to help find the genetic marker for blindness in Paps.

In Pilot's case, he had what is referred to as "late onset". His
blindness did not become evident until he was about 9 years of age.

For the future of this breed  -- we urge you to test your Paps,
both young & old for PRA.

Atlas CERF'ed "normal" in  2006.  His eyes were
re-examined in July 2008, and is now classified
as "suspicious".
Atlas was neutered prior to us working with
MSU genetic research. Blood samples for his
"genes" has been submitted twice.
